Family portraits can be meaningful works of art when approached with that intention. My education and training focused on art, the human form and mastering challenges. My chosen subject matter, which incorporates all of these interests, has its own demands. For instance, people are alive and moving, which can inadvertently influence photographic outcomes. It takes intuitive understanding, years of practice and lots of patience to achieve extraordinary results in a wide variety of settings.
I am told that my approach captures my clients’ natural beauty and represents their essence, as well as reflecting their appearance. I focus on the interplay between art, the human form and personal relationships. Exercising an understanding of body language as well a command of psychology, I know how to achieve singular success for each of my clients. -- Gail Osgood
